Cubicle life

This page is all about work. Not too sure what to put here, since I've been studying security. Last thing I want to do is save any potential social engineer the trouble of engineering me. In fact I've been thinking of wiping my LinkedIn account so that it doesn't tell everyone what I do. I will say that I don't see the light of day unless I step outside for a break, so I added a weather link for me to see what it is doing out there in the wild. Unfortunately, the validator didn't like it, so I took it back down. I'll just have to step outside to see if it is raining again.

Moving up

The big news is work I've been doing on my Bachelor of Science, IT - Security Emphasis from Western Governor's University. So far it has been fun and rewarding. I've had good support from my mentor and class mentors have been responsive as well when I've contacted them.

In the position I currently hold, I'm coming up on my 6-month review. When I interviewed with this organization I said my 5-year goal was to be the team lead, so I guess I will bring that up. Perhaps a security-related position will present itself.

Time shall tell...
