So I'm taking the Information Techology - Security, Bachelor of Science program from Western Governors University.
Here are some things I am studying:
Well the flexibility is what I needed. Working a full-time job and having family
obligations, not to mention a few other distractions, makes for a strange schedule.
I also love the idea of making my own schedule. It is really great knowing that if I need to spend time with my children I can do so and adjust as needed.
The class I am currently finishing up is Project in Web Development Fundamentals. I'm having a great time with it.
I am finding that having a smallish project to complete allows for some additional challenges, but overall I really am enjoying the opportunity to work on my html and css skills. There was a time when I thought that this was what I wanted to do for a living. I can see where the skill is useful for anyone working with technology or wanting to get more exposure for a business.
I hope to expand this website during my time with WGU. I still have more programming to do, as well as database work, and project. I can see where I might be able to incorporate some of that into this site.
